Autumn Holmes founded Opportunity First with a clear conviction: wealth-building knowledge and investment capital should reach the communities that need them most. Too many families and entrepreneurs in marginalized communities have the drive to build something lasting but lack access to the capital, guidance, and networks that make it possible.
With a background in entrepreneurship and community development, Autumn has spent years helping families and small business owners turn financial goals into concrete plans, from budgeting and saving to launching and growing a business. That experience shaped the Opportunity First model: invest strategically, reinvest the returns, and put those resources to work in education, job training, and small business funding.
Today Autumn leads the organization’s investment strategy and community partnerships, making sure every return is reinvested where it can do the most good. The vision is simple: strong roots today, and a wealthy future for the generations to come.
